Modern Perch

We clad this modern beauty perched on a hill with sustainable shou-sugi-ban charred siding as a dramatic contrast to its natural setting, with a light cypress on the underside to offer contrast and cooling sensation for its deep sun-protecting overhangs.  Corten steel was selected to clad the prominent water feature form that brings water, earth, and fire elements together to create an earthy composition and lifestyle.
